Prefabricated substations and BESS are the most integrated products we source — one enclosure holds five subsystems simultaneously (transformer, MV and LV switchgear, interlocking, ventilation, anti-corrosion). The moment any of them is outsourced off-line, the granularity of acceptance criteria rises immediately. Storage systems add three more risk layers: cell enclosures, BMS strategy, and fire suppression.
The verification checklist: where the enclosure is actually produced and its anti-corrosion grade (C4/C5 for Gulf salt atmospheres is the most commonly omitted line); the brand chain and authorised-source path of the internal devices; whether the type-test covers the integrated arrangement or only the individual devices; on the storage side, cell batch traceability, BMS protocol compatibility with your SCADA, and the as-built fire-suppression design.

The storage side has scale
China's new-type storage fleet reached about 144.7 GW cumulative in 2025, up 85% year on year and more than half the world total; in the same year Chinese firms accounted for around nine-tenths of global energy-storage cell shipments.

Solar and wind pulled the upstream up
China holds over 80% of global capacity across all four solar stages and over 60% of wind-turbine assembly. Storage cells, PCS, structures and thermal management share a large part of that upstream.

Cell batch traceability, BMS protocol compatibility with your SCADA, and the as-built fire-suppression design. An internal brand swap after award — replacing the transformer or internal panels with makes outside the agreed list — is the most common cost-reduction move in tendering, so the brand whitelist and a change-review clause belong in the contract.

How do you tell a real factory from a trading office?
We cross-check the business-licence scope, social-insurance headcount, and customs filing. A "manufacturer" with two insured staff and no production-equipment records is almost always a trader reselling someone else's unit. We also look at whether the address is an industrial park or a serviced office.
Can you match a specific brand or model to the right manufacturer?
Yes. Send us the brand and model, or just a nameplate photo, and we reverse-engineer the key parameters: rated voltage, impedance, cooling class, protection grade. Then we shortlist Chinese manufacturers whose product line genuinely covers those parameters. This is the Spec Match tier.
Can you negotiate on my behalf?
Yes. The Procurement Execution and Remote Audit tiers include independent negotiation support, and On-Site Verification covers the physical checks; either way, we sit on your side of the table, not the factory's.
Do you take commissions from factories?
Never. We're paid only by you, on a flat fee. When we name an alternative supplier, we state in writing that we have no financial relationship with it. No referral fees, no kickbacks, no revenue share. Our only incentive is that your deal closes.
